When asked how Immaculate Heart Radio change lives, Doug Sherman said, "I have heard from people who told me that Immaculate Heart Radio brought them closer to God ... or back to the Church ... or back to the Sacraments ... or into the Church for the first time.
I have heard from people who have been away from the Church for twenty or thirty years ... or longer! Or away from confession for that long ... until they "found" our station ... sometimes just by seeing one of our bumper stickers on the car in front of them while sitting at a red light!
I've heard from people who have told me that Immaculate Heart Radio has helped strengthen their marriage ... or saved their baby.
I've heard from widows who told me Immaculate Heart Radio brought them out of the depression they had fallen into over the loss of their spouse ... and elderly people who told me that Immaculate Heart Radio was their only companion in life.
I've heard from people who were on the verge of suicide ... until our programming gave them hope and a reason to live.
And I have heard from young men and women who have told me that they first heard God call them to the priesthood or religious life while listening to one of our Immaculate Heart Radio programs!"
