Earl Flores, known as the Catholic Cowboy, was honored with the prestigious award of Country Gospel Song of the Year for his hit "Gonna Build a House." He then received the Best Country Album of the Year for "The Heart of a Catholic Cowboy."
The Unity Awards, launched by the Catholic Music and Video Association, presents awards to 49 categories from ranging from sacramental music, to hip hop, to country gospel music.
